Upsell.com is the app you knew as ReConvert. Here is what the rename changes on your bill
ReConvert now trades as Upsell.com. The plans, the meter and the tiers are the same as before. What actually decides your bill is the meter, and that is worth reading whether or not the name changed.
2026-08-07 — Abakira, updated 2026-08-10If a new name turned up on your Shopify bill or in your app list this month, nothing has gone wrong. ReConvert now trades as Upsell.com. The App Store listing reads “Upsell.com ‑ ReConvert Upsell” and the developer line reads “Upsell.com ex ReConvert”, which is the usual way a listing carries an old name forward so people can still find it.
The announcement frames the new name around upselling, average order value and retention across more than one platform. That is a positioning statement, not a product change, and on the day we checked, the app and the plans were the ones you were already on.
So this page is not about the name. It is about the thing the name distracted you from.
What did not change
The pricing, as published on the listing on August 7, 2026:
| Plan | Price | Included up to |
|---|---|---|
| Free | development stores only | — |
| Upsell Basic | $4.99 / month | 50 orders or $50 upsell revenue |
| Upsell Growth | $9.99 / month | 100 orders or $100 upsell revenue |
| Upsell Business | $19.99 / month | 200 orders or $200 upsell revenue |
The rating is 4.8 across 2,781 reviews. That is a serious number and we are not going to pretend otherwise. It represents years of merchants finding the edges and the vendor closing them.
The word doing the work is “or”
Read the right-hand column again. Each tier is capped by orders or upsell revenue, whichever you hit first.
That has a consequence people usually discover in a good month. A store on Growth doing 80 orders is comfortably inside the order cap. If those 80 orders produce $110 of upsell revenue, the revenue side has already moved it up a tier. The better the app performs, the sooner the bill moves, which is a coherent way to price a product and also a thing worth knowing before it happens rather than after.
The listing says plainly that charges increase as monthly order volume or upsell revenue increase. So the table above is a floor. The tiers past 200 orders exist without being printed on it.
Why this is the part that matters, not the logo
A meter is a decision about who carries the risk of your growth. Metered pricing puts it on you and gives you a small bill while you are small. Flat pricing puts it on the vendor and asks you to pay a real price on day one.
Neither is dishonest. But only one of them can surprise you, and a rename is a good moment to check which one you are on.
We went flat for a reason we can show you rather than assert. Reading through 147 one and two-star reviews across the top post-purchase apps, we counted 37 that were about billing and 3 that were about an offer not showing. We expected the opposite going in. Merchants make their peace with the technical limits of the platform fairly quickly. What they do not forgive is a bill that moved without warning.
What we charge
$19.99 a month, flat, at any volume. No percentage of what the app sells, no tier that trips when your order count crosses a line, and the price you install on is the price you keep.
There is also a free plan that runs on a live store rather than a development one: one funnel, one offer, 100 shown offers a month. Enough to find out whether your buyers accept anything before you pay for anything.

Where the two bills cross
At about 200 orders a month you pay the same on both, $19.99. Under that line, Upsell.com is cheaper and honestly so. At 60 orders a month, $4.99 against $19.99 is not a close call and you should take the $4.99.
Past that line one number keeps climbing and the other does not. The full crossover table is in our longer piece on the same app under its old name.
What the two pricing models actually do
| Upsell.com | Post Purchase Upsell Abakira | |
|---|---|---|
| What the meter counts | orders or upsell revenue, first to arrive | offers shown to a buyer |
| Bill when the app performs well | goes up | unchanged |
| Bill in a month with no upsells | still tied to your order count | unchanged |
| Published price at high volume | above the listed table | $19.99 |
| Free plan on a live store | development stores only | 100 offers a month |
| Third-party offers to your buyers | a revenue line in this category | never, any plan |
| Grandfathered price | not stated | written into the Code |
| Best for | stores under 200 orders wanting breadth | stores that want the bill to stop tracking their growth |

One commitment, in writing
The screen between paying you and getting confirmation is the most valuable one you own. You paid for that attention twice, once in ad spend and once in the product.
We never place third-party offers on it. Not on any plan, not as a setting you have to find and switch off. Your products or nothing.
What $19.99 covers
The post-purchase page: a one-tap offer added to the order that was just placed, on the card that was just charged, no second checkout. Three levels, seven offers in the tree, and every offer has its own two children, one for the buyer who just accepted and a different one for the buyer who just declined. Targeting on order total or cart contents. Twenty funnels.
The thank-you page: the offer can join the order that already exists instead of opening a second checkout. One order, one parcel, one shipping label. Live on real orders since August 6, 2026.
One parcel, not two. The accepted item joins the order that already exists: same order number in your support inbox, one picking slip, one shipping label. Shopify releases a paid order to fulfillment the second the buyer reaches the status page, so we hold that order ourselves until the line is in. A merchant asked one of the older incumbents in this category for exactly this and was told it was impossible.
Subscriptions both ways. Sell one right after payment, or extend the one the buyer just took, three months into six, without moving their next charge date.
A/B/C/D testing on the Scale plan, four offers at once rather than two.
And the share of your recent orders that can even receive a post-purchase offer, with the reason for each one that cannot, computed from your own orders and free on every plan.
The ceiling that applies to everyone here
No app can show a post-purchase offer on an order Shopify will not render the page for. Apple Pay, Google Pay, PayPal, gift-card orders and POS orders never see it. That is a platform rule and it is identical for every app in this category, which is why a store can install any of us and see far fewer offers than it expected. Our dashboard shows you that share from day one, computed on your own recent orders, so you are not guessing.
Who should move and who should not
Stay if you are under about 200 orders a month, or if you use the bundles, the recommendations or the analytics layer.
Look at us if you are past 200 orders a month, you only need the two post-payment pages, and you would rather your app bill stopped tracking your growth.
The honest way to compare is not to read either of our marketing pages. Install Post Purchase Upsell Abakira on the free plan and run the same offer you are running now. Acceptance rate is the only comparison that means anything, and a hundred shown offers is enough to see one.
Questions we get asked
Did my plan or price change with the rename? Not on the day we checked. The listing showed the same four plans at the same prices as before the rename.
Why does the “or” in their tiers matter so much? Because it means a good month moves you up. Eighty orders producing $110 of upsell revenue passes the revenue cap on the $9.99 tier long before the order cap does.
What moves your price? Nothing. $19.99 at any volume, no commission, and the price you install on is the one you keep even if we raise it for new stores later.
Is switching risky? Shopify serves one post-purchase extension at a time and you choose it in your checkout settings, so there is no gap and the way back is the same setting. Keep the other app installed while you test.
What if my store cannot show post-purchase offers? Our dashboard tells you what share of your recent orders can, and why the rest cannot, free on every plan. Better to know before installing.
