Common questions
How do I put a quote on my Lock Screen?
Touch and hold your Lock Screen, tap Customize, then Lock Screen, tap the widget area and choose Hardmode. The quote changes by itself through the day.
How do I set a quote as my wallpaper?
Tap Set as wallpaper on a quote. The image is saved to your Photos. Then open Photos, tap the image, tap the share button and choose Use as Wallpaper.
What does the subscription cost, and how does the free trial work?
Hardmode offers a yearly or weekly subscription, with a 3-day free trial for new subscribers, or a one-time lifetime purchase. Prices are shown in the app, in your currency, before you confirm. Payment is charged to your Apple Account.
A subscription renews automatically unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the end of the trial or of the current period, in Settings → your name → Subscriptions.
I paid, but the app is still locked.
Tap Restore at the bottom of the subscription screen. Purchases are tied to the Apple Account that made them, so make sure you are signed in with the same one. If it still does not unlock, email us with the date of purchase.
My reminders are not arriving.
Make sure notifications are allowed for Hardmode in the iPhone Settings app, and that a Focus mode is not silencing them.
