Common questions
I changed phone. Did I lose everything?
No. If you were signed into iCloud, your data syncs through your own private iCloud account and comes back when you sign in on the new device and reinstall the app. There is no account to recover and no password to remember.
If iCloud was turned off, the data lived only on the old device. Before wiping a phone, use Settings → Export to save your history as CSV files.
What does the subscription cover, and what happens when the free trial ends?
The app is a subscription: 7 days free, then $119.99 a year or $19.99 a month, billed through your Apple Account. The trial converts automatically unless you cancel at least 24 hours before it ends, in Settings → your name → Subscriptions.
An active subscription is required to use the app. If you cancel, or the subscription lapses, the app locks — but your data never does. On the subscription screen, “Already used the app? View and export your data” opens your full history and exports it as CSV, free, with no time limit and no second payment. Nothing you have entered is ever held hostage.
I paid, but the app is still locked.
Use Restore purchases on the subscription screen. Subscriptions are tied to the Apple Account that bought them, so make sure you are signed in with the same one.
If it still does not unlock, email us with the date of purchase and we will sort it out.
I entered a dose wrong. Can I fix it?
Yes, everything is editable, always. Open the Log tab and tap any entry to change its date, time, dose, injection site, vial or notes. Swipe left to delete it.
Corrections also fix your stock: if a dose came out of a vial, editing or deleting it puts the right amount back.
Can I log a dose I took yesterday, or last week?
Yes. When logging a dose, set the date and time to whenever it actually happened. Backdating is a normal case, not a workaround.
My reminders are not arriving.
Check three things: the schedule is not paused (Settings → Schedule & reminders), Reminders is switched on for that product, and notifications are allowed for the app in the iPhone Settings app.
How does the vial tracking work?
Add a vial with its total amount, and each logged dose is subtracted from it. The app shows how many doses are left, when the vial runs out, and when it is time to reorder based on your delivery lead time.
If you reconstitute yourself, enter the peptide amount and the water you add, and the app tells you how many units to draw on an insulin syringe.
Do you track my food or count calories?
No, and that is on purpose. Food databases are wrong often enough to be worse than useless, so instead the app reads and writes weight, protein and water through Apple Health, which means it works alongside whichever food app you already use.
Is my data private?
Your health data never leaves your device except to sync through your own iCloud account. There is no account, no server of ours, and no analytics. See our privacy policy.
Reporting a problem
The more of this you can include, the faster we can fix it: what you were doing, what you expected, what happened instead, your iPhone model and iOS version, and the app version from Settings. Screenshots help.
Please do not send screenshots containing your medical details unless they are necessary to explain the problem.
Important
GLP-1 & Peptide Tracker is a personal journal. It is not a medical device and does not give medical advice. We cannot answer questions about doses, medications or symptoms — please ask your prescriber.
